Class 10PhysicsChapter 12: Electricity
12.1 Electric Current
Definition of electric current and the ampere as a unit of measurement.
Electric Current
Electric current is the rate of flow of electric charge through a conductor.
where:
- = current (in amperes, A)
- = charge (in coulombs, C)
- = time (in seconds, s)
One ampere is defined as the flow of coulomb of charge per second.
