Integrals

7.1 Introduction

Integration is the inverse process of differentiation. If ddxF(x)=f(x)\dfrac{d}{dx}F(x) = f(x), then:

f(x)dx=F(x)+C\int f(x)\,dx = F(x) + C

where CC is the constant of integration.
